Employees, representatives and agents of The Hertz Corporation, United Airlines, and their respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and anyone involved in the development or execution of this promotion, and their immediate family members (parents, spouses, siblings, and children and their spouses) and members of the households of each such individual are ineligible.
  • What are the prizes?
  • Hertz and United Airlines will award 1 Daily Sweepstakes Prize of 100,000 Mileage Plus Miles each day, 10 Monthly Sweepstakes Prizes of 500,000 Mileage Plus Miles each and 2 Grand Sweepstakes Prizes of One Million Mileage Plus Miles each! Also, there will be a Daily Instant Win Prize of 50,000 Mileage Plus Miles awarded to one lucky winner each day in the Instant Win Game when they play the Cool Games feature. Mileage Plus Miles will be awarded to a total of 254 lucky winners!
  • How do I enter for a chance to win?
  • To be automatically entered in the drawing for a chance to win a Daily or Monthly Sweepstakes Prize, simply provide your United Mileage Plus membership number and book a Hertz car through this site during the promotional period and return it by 3/14/08. To be automatically entered in the drawing for a chance to win a Grand Sweepstakes Prize, return the Hertz car by 3/21/08.     You also have a chance to win a Daily Instant Win Prize by playing the Cool Games on this site. Just complete the registration form with your United Mileage Plus membership number and email address, click on the provided links and play any of the fun games featured! To obtain your prize if you win, you must be a member of the United Mileage Plus Program. In the event that a winner does not have a United Mileage Plus account, one will be established in the applicable winner's name at no cost.
  • When can I enter the promotion and how often?
  • The promotion runs from November 15, 2007 to March 14, 2008. To receive an entry into the Sweepstakes, Hertz car rentals must be returned by 3/21/08 and all mail-in entries must be received by 3/28/08. You may enter in the Sweepstakes as often as you like. For the Instant Win Game portion, there is a limit of 1 game play per United Mileage Plus number and email address per day.
  • If I enter the Promotion, am I guaranteed to win?
  • No, you are entering for a chance to win. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  • How will the winners be selected?
  • Throughout the promotional period, there will be random drawings for the Daily, Monthly and Grand Sweepstakes Prize winners who will be selected from among all eligible entrants who returned their rental car and all eligible mail-in entries received by the dates indicated in the Official Rules.   • Sweepstakes winners will be notified by telephone, email, overnight mail and/or mail.
