1. Eligibility:

The Road to Multi-Million Mileage Plus Miles Instant Win Game and Sweepstakes (hereafter, “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of The Hertz Corporation, United Airlines, Beber Silverstein Group, Project Support Team, Inc., and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies (hereinafter said individuals as well as the entities mentioned collectively referred to as “Released Parties”), and each such individual’s immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, any child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win a prize. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply.

3. Promotion Period:

12:00:00 am (midnight) Eastern Time (“ET”) on 11/15/07 through 11:59:59 pm ET on 3/14/08 (hereafter “Promotion Period”).

4. How to Participate:

A) To Play the Cool Games Instant Win Game portion of the Promotion for a chance to win a Daily Instant Win Prize do all of the following: 1) Visit www.hertzft.com during the Promotion Period and click on the provided link to reach the game registration form; 2) Complete and submit the game registration form including your United Mileage Plus number (hereafter “MP Number”). If you do not have a MP Number, you may become a United Mileage Plus member and obtain one for free by clicking on the designated Mileage Plus link and completing and submitting the provided form. Upon submission, you will promptly receive your assigned MP Number via email. OR, to participate without submitting a MP Number, you may submit your email address on the game registration form; 3) Upon submission of the game registration form (including your MP Number and/or email address) you will be linked to the game page where you will be directed to select one (1) of the three (3) Flash games and play it in its entirety. Once you have finished playing the Flash game in its entirety you will receive a message indicating whether or not you are a Daily Instant Win Prize winner (subject to verification of eligibility, winning game play verification and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules). The choice of Flash game played or the outcome of such Flash game will not enhance or determine the winner of the Daily Instant Win Prizes. Rather, the Daily Instant Win Prize winners will be determined based on the randomly selected winning time (as determined by Sponsor) for that day or if no one completes a Flash game at such time and you are the first to complete a Flash game thereafter (as determined by Sponsor) you will be a Daily Instant Win Prize winner for the applicable day, subject to verification of eligibility, winning game play verification and compliance with the terms of these rules. If you are a Daily Instant Win Prize winner, the winning message you will receive will indicate the prize you are eligible to win. If you are not a winner, you will receive a message stating, “Sorry, you played a great game but didn’t win today’s prize”. In the event the number of winning messages issued exceeds for any reason the number of Daily Instant Win Prizes listed in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing from among all valid, eligible winning message recipients to award the listed number of Daily Instant Win Prizes. Only the published number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the MP Number or e-mail address (as applicable) submitted will be deemed to be the entrant and he/she must comply with these rules. The “authorized account holder” of the MP Number is the natural person assigned the MP Number by United. The “authorized account holder” of the email address is the natural person assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof (to Sponsor’s satisfaction) of being the authorized account holder of the MP Number or email address (as applicable). Limit 1 game play per MP Number and per e-mail address per day. Additional game plays received from the same MP Number and/or e-mail add ress during the same day will be void.

B) Two ways to enter the Sweepstakes portion of the Promotion for a chance to win a Daily Sweepstakes Prize, Monthly Sweepstakes Prize or a Grand Sweepstakes Prize: 
1) Visit www.hertzft.com, book a Hertz rental car by completing the required form, including your MP Number, and take possession of such rental car during the Promotion Period (“Rental Entrant”) and return it to a Hertz rental car location by 3/14/08 to be entered for a chance to win a Daily Sweepstakes Prize or Monthly Sweepstakes Prize. Eligible Rental Entrants who return their rental car to a Hertz rental car location by 3/21/08 will be entered for a chance to win a Grand Sweepstakes Prize. If you do not have an MP Number, you may become a United Mileage Plus member and obtain one for free by clicking on the designated Mileage Plus link and completing and submitting the provided form. Upon submission, you will promptly receive your assigned MP Number via email; OR
2) To enter without renting a Hertz car, neatly print your complete name, address, zip code, date of birth and telephone number on a plain 3” x 5” piece of paper and mail in an envelope to: The Road to Multi-MillionMileage Plus Miles Entry, P.O. Box 14024, Bridgeport, CT, 06673-4024. You may enter as often as you like. However, each mail-in entry must be mailed separately. Mail-in entries must be received by 3/21/08 to be entered for a chance to win a Daily Sweepstakes Prize or Monthly Sweepstakes Prize and received by 3/28/08 to be entered for a chance to win the Grand Sweepstakes Prize.

Mileage Plus membership is subject to United’s Mileage Plus terms and conditions available at www.united.com. Hertz rentals are subject to Hertz's standard rental agreement terms in effect at the rental location. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged. The use of automated devices (or any other devices intended to automate any aspect of participation) to play/enter is prohibited. If Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines that an entrant has used an automated or similar device to play/enter, all game plays, prize claims and entries from that entrant will be void.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, inaccurate, undeliverable, late, stolen, damaged, misdirected or postage-due entries or mail, MP Numbers, game plays or rental entries all of which will be disqualified; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems or other communications malfunctions; flash game errors or problems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or other technical failures; garbled, lost, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or other device related to or resulting from participation in the Promotion; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules or in any Promotion-related advertisements or other materials; lost transaction information or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, technical, electronic; or errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of game plays/entries and the awarding of prizes.

5. Winner Selection:

Daily Instant Win Prizes: Each of the potential 121 Daily Instant Win Prize winners will be determined based on the randomly selected winning time (as determined by Sponsor) for that day or if no one completes a Flash game at such time the first to complete a Flash game thereafter (as determined by Sponsor) will be determined the winner for the applicable day, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules.

Daily Sweepstakes Prize Drawings: There will be a total of 121 individual Daily Sweepstakes Prize random drawings, one for each day of the Promotion Period. Drawings will be conducted on a daily basis throughout the Promotion Period from among all eligible entrants who returned his/her rental car on the applicable day, all mail-in entries received by the 7th day following the respective rental car return deadline and all eligible entries received from previous daily drawings which will carry forward into subsequent drawings. The first drawing will be held on or about 11/27/07 and the last drawing on or about 3/26/08. For example, eligible entrants who returned their rental car on 11/15/07 and eligible mail-in entries received by 11/22/07 will be included in the Daily Sweepstakes Prize drawing for 11/15/07, which will take place on 11/27/07. Mail received on Mondays will be included in the drawings for the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the previous week for the purpose of determining the Saturday winners, Sunday winners and Monday winners (subject to the limitation that only non-winning eligible entries carry forward to subsequent drawings).

Monthly Sweepstakes Prize Drawings: There will be a total of 5 individual Monthly Sweepstakes Prize random drawings, one for each calendar month during the Promotion Period. Drawings will be conducted at the end of each calendar month throughout the Promotion Period from among all eligible entrants who returned their rental car during the applicable month within the Promotion Period, all mail-in entries received by the 7th day following the last day of the applicable month and all eligible entries received from previous monthly drawings which will carry forward into subsequent drawings. The first monthly drawing will be held on or about 12/12/07 and the last drawing on or about 3/26/08. Limit one (1) Monthly Sweepstakes Prize per household per month. For Daily and Monthly Sweepstakes Prize Drawings: In the event no eligible rental entries or mail-in entries are received for a specific drawing, winner(s) for such drawing will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the subsequent drawing.

Grand Sweepstakes Prize Drawing: The 2 potential Grand Sweepstakes Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about 4/2/08 from among all eligible entrants (including all Daily and Monthly Sweepstakes Prize winners) who returned their rental car between 11/15/07 and 3/21/08 and all mail-in entries received by 3/28/08.

In the event a legal holiday (on which there is no mail delivery) falls on a weekday, mail-in entries received on the following non-holiday weekday will be entered into the daily drawing for the date of such legal holiday and the day on which it was received. All drawings will be conducted by Project Support Team, Inc., an independent judging organization. Potential winners will be notified by telephone and/or email and/or overnight mail and/or mail. Potential winners will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (where legal) within 14 days of date of issuance of notification. Noncompliance with the above, with these rules, or a prize notification being returned as non-deliverable, may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner being selected for drawing at issue.

6. Prizes/Odds:

(121) Daily Instant Win Prizes: 50,000 United Mileage Plus Miles. Approximate Retail Value “ARV”= $1,000 each. The odds of winning a Daily Instant Win Prize depends on the total number of eligible game plays received for the applicable day of the Promotion Period.

(121) Daily Sweepstakes Prizes: 100,000 United Mileage Plus Miles. ARV= $2,000 each. The odds of winning a Daily Sweepstakes Prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.

(10) Monthly Sweepstakes Prizes (2 per each of the 5 calendar months during the Promotion Period): 500,000 United Mileage Plus Miles. ARV= $10,000 each. The odds of winning a Monthly Sweepstakes Prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.

(2) Grand Sweepstakes Prizes: 1,000,000 (one million) United Mileage Plus Miles. ARV= $20,000 each. The odds of winning a Grand Sweepstakes Prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. United Mileage Plus Miles will be deposited into winners’ United Mileage Plus accounts within four (4) to six (6) weeks after winner verification. In the event that a winner does not have a United Mileage Plus account, one will be established in applicable winner’s name at no cost. Redemption of prizes is subject to United Mileage Plus Terms & Conditions available online at www.united.com. All Mileage Plus Terms & Conditions apply. In the event that United terminates the Mileage Plus program, winners will have 6 months from said termination date to use/redeem their Mileage Plus Miles. Prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being awarded are the sole responsibility of the individual winners. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prize except by Sponsor who may substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion. Total ARV of all prizes = $503,000.

7. Second Chance Drawing:

Unclaimed Daily Instant Win Prizes not awarded in the game (if any) will be awarded in a Second Chance random drawing on or about 3/19/08 from among all eligible non-winning game plays received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning in Second Chance Drawing depend on the number of unclaimed Daily Instant Win Prizes (if any) and the number of eligible game plays received during the Promotion Period. Potential winners of Second Chance Drawing will be notified by telephone and/or email and/or overnight mail and/or mail and will be required to fulfill all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.

8. General:

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. By participating, entrants agree that 1) Sponsor and its designees may use entrant’s name, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission or notification (unless prohibited by law), and 2) the Released Parties shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrants for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize won and any travel or travel-related activity thereto or participation in this Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect game plays or entries or to modify, cancel or suspend this Promotion (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Promotion and, in any such event, to randomly select winner(s) for the drawings at issue from among all eligible non-suspect entries received for applicable drawing(s) and winners for any unclaimed Daily Instant Win Prizes from among all eligible non-suspect game plays received prior to event requiring such action. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.
